The band trip to Europe for the summer of 2011 is officially on. The vote was overwhelmingly in favor of the trip. Adults and students may now send in your applications form along with the non-refundable $50.00 deposit to Image Tours, Inc. Make checks payable to Image Tours, Inc. The application and deposit are due by February 17, 2010.
Students and their parents who were not at the meeting and would like a copy of the itinerary and an application form, or if you have questions, should contact Mr. Colley or Mrs. Zwyghuizen at

Now that the holidays are done, don't forget that the band still sells SCRIP / gift cards/certificates. Please continue to support the band students by purchasing SCRIP each week. We have made this super easy for you to buy in these 3 ways, purchase on Thursday nights from 7-8pm in the front high school entry way, call Kim at 364-9584 to order, or email Kim at

. There are a lot of new cards to pick from so please check out the SCRIP table. You can download the SCRIP order form here. Just a reminder if 100 people were to purchase a $25 gift card to Speedway every week in January for the gas you already have to put in your car, the band would make $500. Also, as you plan your grocery shopping why not buy a Spartan gift card, prepaid Visa for Meijer, Gordon Food Service, and Walmart. Did you know you can pay your Kohl's charge card with Kohl's gift cards from the SCRIP table!!!! Thanks for your support of the bands! The band boosters would like to thank Kim S and Michele C for all of their hard work selling, ordering, and distributing SCRIP during this busy time of year! Thank you ladies for stepping up and volunteering to run the SCRIP fundraising program for the band! Louie Schaefer will produce the Marching Band DVD for the 2009 season. It will feature many of the same video pieces as the past DVDs with some fun stuff added too.
